Gypsy jazz at the heart of the Côte-d'Or
Historic capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, Dijon brings together two worlds: a listed old town with its townhouses and reception rooms, and a busy metropolitan area hosting conferences, openings and retail events. We work in both — weddings and private receptions on one side, corporate events and entertainment on the other.
These two worlds do not call for the same performance. A wedding is a thread running through a whole day: ceremony, cocktail hour, evening, each with its own volume and line-up. Entertainment is the opposite: people pass through, they do not settle, and the music has to hold a space without taking it over. In both cases we bring our own sound system.
We play in Dijon and across the Côte-d'Or — the Côte de Nuits, Nuits-Saint-Georges, the vineyards and the surrounding area. Based in Saône-et-Loire, we travel throughout France and Europe.

This kind of booking is nothing like a concert. People pass through, they do not settle: we play in sets, at a volume that still allows conversation, and we adapt to the rhythm of the place rather than the other way round. This is the format we offer shopping centres, openings, trade shows and works councils.

Playing in Dijon, in practice
Do you play retail events and openings?
Yes. Among others, we provided jazz entertainment at the Toison d'Or shopping centre. Shopping galleries, trade shows, openings, corporate Christmas events: we adapt the volume and the format to the venue and its footfall.
How long do you play for?
It depends on the format. For entertainment bookings we usually play in sets with breaks, across an agreed time slot. For a wedding we accompany several moments of the day. The running order is agreed together beforehand.
Do you travel across the whole Côte-d'Or?
Yes: Dijon, the Côte de Nuits, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Beaune and the whole department. And we are not limited to the region — we travel throughout France and Europe.
Access to the town centre is difficult — is that a problem?
No, as long as we know in advance. The courtyards and townhouses of the old town sometimes mean carrying the gear in, or a restricted time slot for unloading. Tell us beforehand and we will adjust our arrival time and the setup accordingly.
