Festivals and concert stages A full gypsy jazz concert, from duo to quintet

What you are actually programming

In concert configuration, the Borruto Family is not a background band turned up loud. It is a constructed set: Django Reinhardt standards taken at tempo, original compositions, Italian swing, and the particular dynamic of a family that has played together for over twenty years. The chemistry between the musicians is not a line in a press kit — it is visible from the room, and it is what holds an audience to the end.

The shape of the set

A story, not a list

The set alternates tempos and moods: a fast tune does not call for another fast tune. The progression is built, with room to breathe and with peaks.

From duo to quintet

The line-up adapts to your stage and your budget. The duo “The Two Brothers” works in a light format or walkabout; the quintet is the main-stage option.

Visible transmission

Two generations on the same stage: the father and the uncle, the two sons. That is a programming angle in itself, particularly for venues working on intergenerational connection.

A readable repertoire

Django, the swing of the 1930s and 1940s, Italian swing, bossa and our own compositions. A general audience gets in without effort; a knowledgeable one finds what it came for.

Where we have played

A few of the stages we have played in Burgundy. The full, up-to-date list can be sent on request, along with the relevant contacts.

Jazz à Beaune et Grands Vins de Bourgogne

We have played on the stage of this festival, in a town where the jazz audience is demanding and well informed.

Les Montgolfiades, Chalon-sur-Saône

The large hot-air balloon gathering in Chalon: an open-air stage, in front of a large family audience.

Public events and local authorities

Village festivals, openings, local authority events and corporate evenings, indoors and outdoors, throughout Burgundy-Franche-Comté.

Technical rider and hosting requirements

The full technical rider — stage plan, console patch and monitors — can be downloaded from the press kit, along with the high-resolution A3 poster. For stages and festivals, we work with your PA and your sound engineer. For lighter formats, indoors or outdoors, we are self-sufficient for sound.

We are based in Saône-et-Loire and travel throughout France and Europe. Travel costs and, where relevant, accommodation, are stated clearly in the quote. The booking contact is direct: you talk to the band, not to an agency.
